IntoVR - booking system
A complete booking system for a virtual-reality venue in Wrocław - built to order, from the booking form to the staff panel.
The challenge
A VR venue sells time on specific stations. Bookings by phone and e-mail meant double bookings, dead gaps between sessions, and evenings spent replying.
The solution
An online booking system: the customer picks the number of stations, a time slot, and games, then gets an e-mail and SMS confirmation. Gift vouchers, GDPR consents, automatic cleanup of unconfirmed bookings, and an admin panel with a schedule and settlements for the venue staff.
Scope & technology
Design, launch, and years of operations: the booking web app, an admin panel, a mailer and an SMS gateway, MongoDB underneath. For years the system carried the venue's entire traffic - from booking to settlement.
